Rule # 1: Look beyond the requirements of the product
While advertising is a major influence on the skin care market, it is important to be wise in dealing with the requirements of a particular product. If the product claims that you reduce fine lines and eliminate wrinkles, are these statements of the reviews of real people who have used the product supported and seen positive results?
One tip is to look for products that stimulate collagen production as over time, which can cause dramatic changes in the appearance of the skin. In addition, a product that contains a good moisturizer is crucial to relax the skin tension and lock in the moisture.
Rule # 2: Do not worry about the presence of any ingredient
With so many competing creams on the market there is some degree of separation in which ingredients they contain. Instead of finding out what product a skin cream must contain, try to see what any single product can bring to your skin care routine.
Its too much to ask that any skin care product should be a magic pill for your skin, but using a combination of products that address the problem from different angles makes it easy to see how to use two or even three good skin care products can make your skin easily take advantage of the combined effect of all additional nutrients and ingredients.
Some really good nutrients for skin care include silica, zinc, omega-3 acids, selenium and vitamin C and antioxidants.
Rule No. 3: Avoid irritants
Okay, so while it may be good to have a number of important nutrients in your skin care, there are definitely some skin care products that you would do well to avoid. Products that irritate the skin can actually increase the wrinkles and weaken the skin from protection against environmental damage, such as UV from the suns rays, which is definitely not what you want!
The best advice is to test. Even the slightest or uncomfortable feeling of skin caused by using a product is the first sign of skin irritation. If this happens to you, my advice is strongly to stop using that product immediately! There are many options on the market and the risks are simply not worth the cost.
Please check the product reviews and see what others are saying. This can save you a lot of long-term problems.
Rule # 4: Look for products that compliment your skin type
Getting to know your skin type can save a lot of time when choosing the right products for you. This is actually much easier than you would expect. In principle, skin types can be divided into four key groups: Normal, dry, greasy and sensitive. There is also a combination of skin type, although this is less common. Your skin is likely to fall into one of these categories or have characteristics that make it more than the other.
(A quick tip here, if you have trouble undermining your skin type, it may pay to visit a dermatologist who can easily tell you what category your skin type fits into.)
With that in mind, you match the right skin product to your skin type and it will not only let your skin feel more healthy and nutritious but will avoid potentially damaging influences that may occur by using the wrong product on your skin.
In addition, remember to use the product in all areas of your skin exposed to the sun. It is often overlooked that not only are the areas around the eyes and the mouth that need attention. Your neck, hands and even part of your body like your knees and elbows can also benefit from a little sore love and care!
Rule # 5: Do not expect results overnight
This goes back to promises and claims that you will see what comes with many skin care products. If I found a product that was a miracle treatment for skin care, I would be very happy about it! The truth is that a skin care product works in conjunction with your daily routine and is not really an isolated remedy in itself. You still need to protect yourself from the sun and continue practicing all good habits that lead to healthy looks.
Thats not to say you can not see concrete results and have great success with the right product. After all, skin care does not have to be difficult and it is certainly possible to see positive results in a few weeks with the right product.
Usually in 2-3 weeks you should start to see some benefits for your skin, but for best results, a longer use is recommended. Using the right product for a few months can literally change the appearance of the skin.
The benefits of a good anti-aging skin care product include softer and radiant skin, even skin tone and less wrinkle and fine lines. Not only are these goals achievable, but thanks to the latest developments in the cosmetics industry, they are now also in the nose.
